The Drifter Series belt buckles are made from hardwoods and surfboard grade fiberglass fin panels on an aluminum backing. These buckles remind us of the wooden fins found on vintage surfboards. Although wearing your old fins would be cool, we've tried it and feel it's better to leave them on your board. Some of the materials used in the construction of these vintage inspired belt buckles are recycled, reclaimed, or reused.

The Drifter Series belt buckles are made from domestic or exotic hardwoods and surfboard grade fiberglass fin panels on a custom aluminum belt buckle backing. Some of the materials used in the hand crafting of these vintage inspired buckles are recycled, reclaimed or reused. The buckle loop is riveted between two layers of aluminum. This is the same quality grade aluminum that custom oil filters are made from commonly found on race cars. The belt hook is a recycled bicycle spoke that is screwed onto a counter sunk machine screw. Pair this buckle with one of our hand dyed leather belt strap and wear it with your favorite vintage jeans or over a vintage dress.
